Hey, my name’s Ed, and I’m the Youth Pastor at Kensington Temple. I was raised in London and I’m passionate about seeing young people of London drawing closer to God and being equipped to fulfil their destiny in Christ. Together, in our gatherings and cell groups, I believe we can support and challenge one another to live for Christ in this world and lead others to Him. I’ve been amazed to see the transformation in the youth as they have been stepping out in faith throughout 2010 and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for us in this year ahead! Let it be beyond what we could ask or think, according to his power!
I am privileged to lead the Youth Ministry at this time, with an awesome team who love God and want to serve the next generation. Below, the youth team introduce themselves so that you can put names to faces or faces to names. These are the ones that will be preparing the way for KT Youth to fulfil their individual callings. I thank God for their lives; please keep them in prayer, asking that they will continue to walk in a spirit of wisdom and revelation (Eph 1:8).
I’m Sylvia, I am currently working in the legal profession after finishing a 4 year degree at Durham and Law Course at BPP. I have a desire to see young women arise and fulfill their destiny in Christ and I believe that “out of weakness comes strength” because God can still use weak people to accomplish great things through His enabling power!
I’m Victoria, I’ve been in the youth leadership team for 11 years. This past year we have seen such hunger and desire for God in the youth, as well as awesome testimonies from our encounters, living free and school of leaders.
I believe that God is raising and training a generation of young people that are willing to stand for God’s cause in their schools and community. It’s going to be an exciting 2011!
Hey! I’m Phil and I’ve been involved in KTYM for the past 10 years! I love being part of a youth ministry full of people ready to follow Jesus, being transformed by Him and becoming disciples of Christ. I’m married to Karena and you’ll probably see me buzzing round on my motorbike… bring on 2011.
Hey, my name is Yaw and it’s an absolute privilege to be a part of what’s happening amongst the youth. Isaiah 49:16 (AMP), describes us as being indelibly imprinted on the palm of each of His (God’s) hands. I believe that when guys realise how valued they are by God, they will be truly moved to serve Him, with everything they have.
My name is Margaret (I’m also known as Israel) and I am currently a qualified teacher. I have a real heart for the youth, as I believe that they are the Joshua generation of today who will succeed us! I pray that for 2011 God will continue to ignite the fire and raise up young men and women who are truly and sincerely after God’s own heart. Amen.
Hi, I’m Justin. I’m married to Ruby and live in NW London. I’ve worked for KT for 3 years now and for the last year I’ve been in the Youth Department.
Last year God was really stirring the hearts of the youth in preparation for action, teaching them to be a light amongst the darkness. Many met Christ in a personal way and now have a bigger fire in their bellies to influence their surroundings and see people come to know God by the love of God working in them….bring on 2011.
I’m Geoffrey and I’m passionate about reaching young men and seeing them become strong disciples of Christ. I am really excited about the things that have taken place and will take place throughout 2011 in KTYM.
I’m Femi, I’m studying Genetics at university and I’ve been at KT since I was 2 years old. It’s been amazing to be part of what God’s doing amongst the youth, maturing and strengthening them in their walk with Christ. I believe last year was a stepping stone for more real breakthroughs in 2011!
My name is Esther, I`ve been in KT since I was 9. Since completing law studies at Swansea University, I came back to London and KTYM where I joined the youth primary team in 2007. I have a passion for intercessory prayer and working with students and young professionals. I believe 2011 will be a year where we see tremendous growth not only in numbers but also in spiritual maturity as people take their place.
I’m Darren and I’m a Londoner! I’m all about seeing young men become everything that God has made them; his sons. I work in The City and have a beautiful wife and daughter. See you in 2011 at the Cause…
I’m Andrea, I’ve been working in the youth office for just over a year and 2010 was an amazing year for KTYM. It’s such a privilege to be a part of a great team working together for a great cause. I love being involved in KTYM’s vision to see the youth of this generation stand up unashamedly for their faith in Jesus and to live as he did (1 John 2:6). I continue to look forward to how God is going to use the youth to impact this world for Christ.
Hi, I’m Catherine! I’m currently a public health doctor in SE London and hope to be used by God in public health in developing countries in the future!
I’ve been in the youth primary since last year and I’m amazed at how God has been moving among the youth this year! I really believe that the youth will bring about real change in London for Christ, so I can’t wait for 2011.
